How long to cook your salmon?

  1. Broiling: This is one of the easy and handy ways to cook. Preheat your broiler to high and place an oven rack in the oven. Make sure to keep it in the top third rack of your oven so when you place the salmon it is within 5 inches of distance from the coils of your broiler.
    Now simply place the Salmon over aluminum foil or parchment paper and finally season it with pepper and salt. You can also add your favorite seasoning. Broil for 5 to 8 minutes depending on your taste. Check the doneness of salmon via fork.
  2. Bake: Baking is another super easy technique to cook your salmon. Preheat the oven to 350 F and place a large baking sheet with foil. Bake your skin-side-down for 12 to 15 minutes, or until pink and opaque. You can also season it with garlic, honey, and thyme as per your taste.

    Heat the nonstick or cast-iron skillet over a medium-high flame and grease the pan with olive oil or butter or any vegetable oil. Place the salmon fillets with skin side-up and cook until they easily release from your pan with the spatula. Flip when the crust is fully formed. This might take approx. 6 minutes. After flipping, cook for another 4 minutes.
